Privacy policy

Effective date: November 7, 2026 · App: linkify for Android (com.mounirghafir.linkify)

In short: linkify has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your library stays on your phone, and in your own Google Drive only if you turn on sync. The developer has no server and receives none of your data.

What stays on your phone

Everything you save in linkify is stored on your device: links, titles, descriptions, pictures, notes, tags, collections, pins and your settings. linkify has no cloud and no account. The developer cannot see your library. If you turn on Google Drive sync, a copy is also kept in your own Google Drive (see below).

Export and import. When you export your library (Settings → Your data → Export library), linkify makes the file on your phone and hands it only to the folder or app you choose. Import reads only the file you pick. Neither sends anything to the developer.

What leaves your phone, and why

To show a title and a picture for a link you save, your phone asks for a preview directly, the same way a web browser opens a page:

As with any internet request, these sites can see your phone's IP address. Their own privacy policies apply to what they do with it. Only the link's address is sent: never your notes, tags, collections or the rest of your library. All of these requests are encrypted (HTTPS). Every request uses one fixed language header, so it does not reveal your interface language.

Sync with Google Drive (optional)

Sync is off until you turn it on in Settings → Google Drive sync. Google then asks you to choose a Google account and to allow linkify to "see, create and delete its own configuration data in your Google Drive" (the drive.appdata permission). linkify keeps a copy of your library (links with their titles, descriptions and preview details, notes, tags, collections, pins and dates) in a hidden folder of your own Google Drive, so your other phones can have the same library. Pictures are not copied: each phone gets them again from the websites. Once sync is on, linkify syncs only while it is open on your screen: when you open it, shortly after you change something, and when you tap Sync now.

linkify's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What linkify does not do

Permissions

Internet, to fetch link previews and pictures. Vibration, for short touch feedback. linkify receives links when you choose it in another app's share menu; it does not read anything else.

Deleting your data

You can delete any link, any collection, or all data in the app (Settings → Delete all data). Uninstalling linkify removes its library from your phone. Because the developer holds no data, there is nothing else to delete. If you used Google Drive sync, delete the copy in Google Drive as described above. Files you exported are yours: delete them where you saved or sent them.

Children

linkify is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.

باختصار: لا حساب في linkify، ولا إعلانات، ولا تحليلات، ولا تتبّع. مكتبتك تبقى على هاتفك، وفي غوغل درايف الخاص بك فقط إذا فعّلت المزامنة. ليس لدى المطوّر أي خادم، ولا يتلقى أيًّا من بياناتك.

ما يبقى على هاتفك

كل ما تحفظه في linkify مخزَّن على جهازك: الروابط والعناوين والأوصاف والصور والملاحظات والوسوم والمجموعات والتثبيتات وإعداداتك. لا سحابة في linkify ولا حساب. ولا يستطيع المطوّر رؤية مكتبتك. وإذا فعّلت المزامنة مع غوغل درايف، تُحفظ نسخة أيضًا في غوغل درايف الخاص بك (انظر أدناه).

التصدير والاستيراد. عندما تصدّر مكتبتك (الإعدادات ← بياناتك ← تصدير المكتبة)، يُنشئ linkify الملف على هاتفك ولا يسلّمه إلا إلى المجلد أو التطبيق الذي تختاره. ولا يقرأ الاستيراد إلا الملف الذي تختاره. ولا يُرسل أيٌّ منهما شيئًا إلى المطوّر.

ما يغادر هاتفك، ولماذا

لعرض عنوان وصورة للرابط الذي تحفظه، يطلب هاتفك المعاينة مباشرة، كما يفتح المتصفح أي صفحة:

كما في أي طلب عبر الإنترنت، يمكن لهذه المواقع رؤية عنوان الإنترنت (IP) الخاص بهاتفك، وتسري سياسات الخصوصية الخاصة بها على ما تفعله به. لا يُرسَل سوى عنوان الرابط: لا ملاحظاتك ولا وسومك ولا مجموعاتك ولا بقية مكتبتك. كل هذه الطلبات مشفّرة (HTTPS)، وتحمل جميعها ترويسة لغة ثابتة واحدة، فلا تكشف لغة واجهتك.

المزامنة مع غوغل درايف (اختيارية)

المزامنة متوقفة حتى تفعّلها من الإعدادات ← المزامنة مع غوغل درايف. عندها يطلب منك غوغل اختيار حساب والسماح لـ linkify «بعرض بيانات الإعداد الخاصة به وإنشائها وحذفها في غوغل درايف» (إذن drive.appdata). يحتفظ linkify بنسخة من مكتبتك (الروابط مع عناوينها وأوصافها وتفاصيل معايناتها، والملاحظات والوسوم والمجموعات والتثبيتات والتواريخ) في مجلد مخفي داخل غوغل درايف الخاص بك، لتكون المكتبة نفسها على هواتفك الأخرى. أما الصور فلا تُنسخ: يجلبها كل هاتف من جديد من المواقع. وما دامت المزامنة مفعّلة، لا يزامن linkify إلا وهو مفتوح على شاشتك: عند فتحه، وبعد قليل من أي تغيير تجريه، وعندما تضغط «زامن الآن».

يلتزم linkify في استخدام المعلومات التي يتلقاها من واجهات غوغل البرمجية ونقلها بـ سياسة بيانات المستخدمين لخدمات واجهات غوغل البرمجية، بما فيها متطلبات الاستخدام المحدود.

ما لا يفعله linkify

الأذونات

الإنترنت، لجلب معاينات الروابط وصورها. الاهتزاز، لاستجابة لمس قصيرة. يستقبل linkify الروابط عندما تختاره من قائمة المشاركة في تطبيق آخر، ولا يقرأ أي شيء آخر.

حذف بياناتك

يمكنك حذف أي رابط أو أي مجموعة أو كل البيانات من داخل التطبيق (الإعدادات ← حذف كل البيانات). وبإزالة linkify تُحذف مكتبته من هاتفك. ولأن المطوّر لا يحتفظ بأي بيانات، فلا شيء آخر يحتاج إلى الحذف. وإذا استخدمت المزامنة مع غوغل درايف، فاحذف النسخة الموجودة فيه كما هو موضّح أعلاه. أما الملفات التي صدّرتها فهي ملكك: احذفها من المكان الذي حفظتها فيه أو أرسلتها إليه.

الأطفال

linkify غير موجّه للأطفال دون الثالثة عشرة، ولا يجمع عن قصد معلومات من أي أحد.

التغييرات

إذا تغيّرت هذه السياسة، ستُنشر النسخة الجديدة في هذه الصفحة بتاريخ سريان جديد.
